Immediacy CMS Editor training

Standard Editor training: This course covers all content creation and editing capabilities within Immediacy and includes general guidance on creating new pages. Users will become confident in adding content to the site effectively. This course is for all users who, in any way, contribute content to the web site. Also required for anyone tasked with approving content.

Advanced Editor training: This course is for those individuals whose role includes approving content, using Metadata and plug-ins to add dynamism to web pages and ensuring that page content follows usability and accessability gudelines. It also considers how page content and layout affects Search Engine ranking.

Immediacy CMS Administrator training

This course focuses on the management and administration tools, which allow web site administrators to maintain precise control of web sites. Sessions include web site creation, AD import, creating a permissions structure, archiving, metadata, site membership and configuration settings.

Immediacy CMS Designer training

XHTML/CSS Primer: This course is an intensive introduction to building web pages using XHTML and CSS. It is an ideal introduction course for those planning to attend the Immediacy Design (template creation) course but who have little recent experience of coding XHTML and CSS.

 
Design (template creation) training: This course is suitable for web designers, web managers and administrators, who need to create and configure Immediacy templates and style sheets. It covers how to convert an existing flat file design for use with Immediacy. The course is hands-on, with tutor-led examples and independent exercises. This course should also be attended by developers who need a background understanding of the Immediacy CMS architecture.

Immediacy CMS Developer training

This course is suitable for programmers who need to create plug-ins for use with the Immediacy CMS. It covers the creation of plug-ins based on .NET user controls and custom controls. It also covers creation of user interface dialogs and the Immediacy Database. 

Immediacy Web Asset Manager (WAM) Training

This course is suitable for users and managers of the Immediacy Web Asset Management system. It covers the use of the Immediacy WAM through the Web Explorer and standard interfaces, including such topics as document version management, custom document properties, permissions, categorisation and accessing the Immediacy WAM from the CMS Editor.
