Who Should Attend
This course is ideal for any individual who
has one (or more) of the following roles;
This course is a beginner’s guide to taxonomy
creation and management and is specifically aimed at those involved
in the categorisation of content created in Immediacy CMS.
Course Prerequisites
- Attendance of the Immediacy CMS Editor course
and an appreciation of the importance of search, and search engines
in locating web based information.
Aims and Objectives
This course is a beginner’s guide to taxonomy
creation and management and is specifically aimed at those involved
in the categorisation of content created in Immediacy CMS.
By the end of this course attendees will
have:
- An understanding of how a taxonomy is structured
- Learnt how to auto-categorise content in the Editor
- Manually refined the results of auto-categorisation
- Learnt how to use the Taxonomy Manager interface
- Seen how to import and edit an existing taxonomy
- Created a new taxonomy
- Carried out edit operations on categories within a
taxonomy
- Published and exported a taxonomy
- Seen how to delete a taxonomy
- Created and edited user accounts using the TCM Administrator
