Immediacy Web Asset Manager (WAM) Training
WAM User Training: 1 day
Who Should Attend
This course is ideal for any individual who
has one (or more) of the following roles;
- Document managers
- Knowledge managers
- Administrators
- Cataloguers
- Editors using WAM as a repository
Attendees are taken through a series of
workshops designed to introduce them to all aspects of using the
Immediacy Web Asset Manager from creating users, granting document
permissions and linking to documents/images under its control.
Course Prerequisites
- An understanding of the Immediacy CMS Editor
to a level supplied by the Immediacy CMS Standard Editor
course.
- Administrators should have some
understanding of the Immediacy Permission system as covered by the
Immediacy CMS Advanced Editor and Administrator courses.
Aims and Objectives
By the end of this course attendees will have
covered:
- Importing files into the WAM
- Maintaining WAM resident files
- Checking Out, Checking In and Publishing documents
- The WebDAV Interface
- The standard WAM interface
- Inserting WAM held images into web pages
- Inserting links to WAM held documents
- Dynamically building lists of links to WAM documents.
This course is aimed at those who need to
understand how to manage documents within the WAM and to make use
of them from within the CMS. As such it covers all aspects of
managing WAM held documents and the use of the CMS/WAM
interface.
