Editor log-in

The Immediacy Content Management System (CMS) is a totally browser-based application that does not require any bespoke client-side software to operate.
Editors and contributors access the CMS by navigating to the Immediacy Editor URL which is usually restricted to within the organisation, and then entering their username and password.

Immediacy provides comprehensive user permissions that can be set at group or individual level according to a number of organisational considerations such as content type, department, location and activity.

Immediacy also has a number of options for authentication including; a built-in users and groups database, LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), AD (Active Directory), and NDS (Novell Directory Services). Single sign-on is easily achieved with Immediacy when LDAP, AD, or NDS authentication is utilised.

Immediacy CMS can be deployed across multiple websites within an organisation. If used in this way, the user is prompted to select the website that they wish to edit. User rights and permissions ensure that only authorised users access the correct website.
