Document lifecycle management
Immediacy WAM tracks the editorial history of each
document and its relationships with other documents.
Once 'Published' a document moves from draft to published
status, and is thereafter available to users to view and external
applications to consume. A review date is either set explicitly or
inherited from the parent folder and as this date approaches, the
file owner is requested to review the document.
Unlimited versions and revisions of all documents can be
stored in the system. Saved documents are saved as revisions until
published, at which point a new version is made available to users
of the WAM. Hyperlinks can point to specific version of a document
or always to the latest version – ensuring that your organisation
and its audiences are always in step with the very latest
information.
No more searching for email attachments, your 'c drive' or the
company 'file server'. Being able to respond to a request for
information, legislative change or market pressure is a business
critical activity.
