Technical requirements

Immediacy uses Windows 2000-03 Server, IIS, SQL 2000 and can integrate existing Access databases. The CMS can run on any Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP client that can run Internet Explorer 6 or above.

Server

The configuration and specification of the recommended server(s) will depend on expected activity, but the specification listed below is adequate for up to around 300,000 hits per day.

Staging/Live Servers (minimum specs)

• Processor: PIII 1.0GHz Pentium (single processor)
• Memory: 1GB RAM
• Disks: 5GB space (SCSI disks in a RAID5 is recommended, but not mandatory)
• OS: Windows 2000 Server (with all service packs and security updates)
• Database: Microsoft SQL2000 (with all service packs and security updates). This may be shared by both staging & live servers.

Client software

• Internet Explorer 6.0, and above
