Integration
Immediacy architecture is designed to allow integration with
external systems. External data may be integrated in to Immediacy,
via XML or ODBC or web services.
Immediacy offers a fully extendable and open plug-in interface
to allow additional functionality to be added to the Immediacy
system. The plug-in architecture can be divided into three distinct
areas:-
- Server plug-ins that extend the publish process
- Client plug-ins that integrate with the WYSIWYG web editor
- Admin add-ins that allow extended functionality to be added to
the Administration.
