WYSIWYG editing

The Immediacy CMS features full WYSIWYG editing and enables the user to see the entire page context complete with all visual elements as it will appear when live, although only designated areas of the page may be edited. This means changes can be tried and viewed before even being submitted for approval, in the full context of the live site and available templates.

Immediacy's  WYSIWYG  Editor

To change content in a page the user logs on to the Immediacy Editor in their web browser, navigates to the page they wish to change via the left-hand tree-view and simply starts to type as you would in a word processor.

The editable regions are defined by dotted-line borders that can be toggled to give a near identical view to the live page, and a full in-browser preview is also possible. In this way, the functionality of Immediacy is very much like Microsoft Word®, where it is common to edit documents in print view, which is an accurate WYSIWYG view of the document as it will print, but the product still offers a comprehensive Print Preview that shows exactly the result you will get.

The tools on the menu bar closely resemble those used in Microsoft Word®, and are easily understood by anyone with Microsoft Office® experience.
