System Architecture
Our content management suite is based on Microsoft .NET and uses
Microsoft SQL server as the content repository.
All access to Immediacy applications is via a web browser.
(A few administration programs require desktop access to the
server).
Extending and integrating with Immediacy is based on developing
standard Microsoft development tools and .NET controls. This means
that integrating with any third party application or database is
usually trivially easy.
Extensive use of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) means that
many parts of our system can "swapped out" to enable easier, more
seemless integration projects.
