Setting permissions in
Immediacy
Scenario 1
The Sales department and the Legal department both have separate
areas of responsibility over the website. However, one individual
in Legal has the task of checking and editing the 'Conditions of
Sale' page within the sales team's page. No other person from Legal
is permitted to do this, and this individual cannot edit any other
page within the Sales website.
Scenario 2
By default all users have read access to all pages. However,
Finance keeps confidential notes relating to employee salary and
benefits. For this finance section, only users in the finance
groups, plus selected other individuals may have read access to
this area. All other users will not have read access and thus not
be able to browse this area.
