Management Team
Lawrence Flynn – Chief Executive Officer
Lawrence joined Mediasurface in 2002 and has 20 years experience
within the IT applications industry. Since 1993 he has taken profit
and loss responsibilities for a number of businesses including the
international subsidiaries of Minerva Industrial Systems Plc, a
professional services division of Origin UK Limited and the Europe
Middle East and Africa operations of Wonderware Corporation, a $100
million business. Lawrence joined Mediasurface from i2 Technologies
Inc.
David Deacon - Chief Financial Officer
David came to Mediasurface in 2002. David is an associate member
of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has 27
years financial, commercial and management experience gained both
in the UK and internationally, for a range of technology
businesses. He was director of finance at Kalamazoo International
plc and Finance Director at Wonderware Corporation for Europe, the
Middle East and Africa. He joined Mediasurface from RL Polk, where
he was their international CFO.
Andy Peart – Chief Marketing Officer
Andy joined Mediasurface in 2006, and is responsible for
promoting Mediasurface and its portfolio of web content management
solutions to a wider audience. He has extensive experience in
brand, product and channel marketing disciplines, gleaned from 18
years’ experience in IT Marketing. Andy joins the company from
business integration specialist Magic Software Enterprises, having
previously held senior marketing roles with sector leading
enterprise software and services vendors including Kalamazoo, ACT
and PAFEC.
Matthew Goode, Marketing Director
Matthew joined Immediacy in July 2005 where he
has been instrumental in carrying out a complete review of
Immediacy’s Partner channel and implementing the Partner
Accreditation Programme. He also carried out an extensive review of
the Immediacy sales process and devised a new, structured, sales
process. Matthew has been heavily involved in the ‘customer service
oriented’ business strategy which has resulted in radical operation
changes across entire operation. This included the appointment of a
Customer Services Manager and Account Managers focused on retention
and loyalty.
Prior to Immediacy Matthew co-founded 24-seven
New Media, a new media agency specialising in the design and
development of websites and intranets. In addition, he has worked
in a variety of creative roles for multimedia and advertising
organisations.
John Fennell - Operations Director
John came to Mediasurface in 2001 and is now the operations
authority for the Company, overseeing all lines of business.
He is ultimately responsible for all Operations functions, along
with the systems, procedures and processes that support the day to
day running of Mediasurface. John also manages the Quality
Management function and the internal management of information for
the Company’s Executive Management Team. His role is key to
ensuring that Mediasurface continues to deliver market leading
products in its sector, and has a decade of experience in running
operations across the UK, EMEA and the US in the IT market.
Jason Pitchers – Head of Product
Development
Jason joined Mediasurface as Product Marketing Director for
Morello in 2005. He brought more than 25 years’ experience of
delivering IT based solutions in a number of industries, as well as
considerable experience in IT management, business analysis and
marketing disciplines. In 2006, Jason was promoted to Head of
Product Development allowing him to focus his expertise on the
development and growth of the Mediasurface product portfolio.
In 2008, he moved to Immediacy as Head of Product Development where
he has responsibility for coordinating and overseeing product
direction, software development plus support and maintenance for
Immediacy.
